founded in 1951, east china normal university (ecnu) is one of china’s key research universities under the direct auspices of the ministry of education and sponsored by the prestigious national program of“double first-class”initiative,“project 985”and“project 211”.

faculty of economics and management (fem) is one of the leading faculties in ecnu. fem includes school of economics, school of business administration, school of public administration, school of statistics, asia europe business school (jointly operated by ecnu and emlyon business school), academy of international transport and logistics, academy of statistics and interdisciplinary sciences, professional degree education center, and college of economics and management. there are 4 first-level doctoral programs, 6 first-level academic master’s degree programs, 9 professional master's degree programs, 3 post-doctoral research stations, and 15 undergraduate programs.

positions available:

fem offers a variety of faculty positions at assistant /associate/full professor/postdoctoral level in all fields, and the following fields are strongly preferred: finance, financial economics, urban and regional economics (including real estate, urban governance, tourism), international trade, industrial organization, behavioral economics, health economics (aging and old-age care), applied econometrics, financial econometrics, public economics (social security, public health, public policy, behavioral policy), marketing (branding strategy), business administration (business strategy), big data analysis (business data analysis), information system and management, accounting, and economic statistics.

job qualifications:

professor:

1. candidates who have been selected into the national talent program, work at well-known overseas universities or domestic project 985 or project 211 or first-class universities.

2. candidates who have published strong academic research work with significant impacts recognized by peers and have an excellent international academic research background.

3. age requirement: no more than 50 years old in general.

associate professor:

1. candidates who have been selected into the provincial and municipal talent program, work at well-known overseas universities or domestic project 985 or project 211 or first-class universities.

2. candidates who have demonstrated excellence in academic research and teaching, and their representative academic research work has important scientific research value and application value.

3. age requirement: no more than 45 years old in general.

assistant professor:

1. candidates should have a ph.d. degree in economics or related fields in hand or firmly expected by the fall of 2020.

2. candidates who have a good paper publication record or show excellent research ability and potential. rich teaching experience is preferred.

3. age requirement: no more than 30 years old for fresh ph.d. graduates; no more than 33 years old for postdoctors.

full-time postdoctoral/on-the-job postdoctoral/joint training postdoctoral:

1. candidates should have a ph.d. degree. ph.d. acquisition time generally does not exceed 3 years.

2. age requirement: no more than 35 years old.

faculty will conduct recruitment through china international conference in economics 2019 (cice) and american economic association 2020 (aea).application screening begins immediately and application deadline is 17:00 november 20th(beijing time),2019. applicants should send a cv, three reference letters (assistant professor position and postdoctoral only), research statement, teaching evaluation (if any), and copies of selected publications. three published academic papers are required for candidates applying for professor or associate professor or postdoctoral positions. job market paper and published academic papers (if any) are required for candidates applying for assistant professor positions.

华东师范大学成立于1951年,华东师范大学是由国家举办、教育部主管,教育部与上海市人民政府重点共建的综合性研究型大学,是国家“211工程”和“985工程”重点建设高校。2017年学校进入国家世界一流大学建设a类高校行列。

经济与管理学部下辖经济学院、工商管理学院、公共管理学院、统计学院、亚欧商学院(中法合作)、国际航运物流研究院、统计交叉科学研究院、专业学位教育中心和经管书院。现有4个一级学科博士学位授予点,6个一级学科硕士学位授予点,9个专业硕士学位授予点,3个博士后科研流动站,16个本科专业。学部师资力量雄厚,办学条件优良,重视学科交叉,学术氛围浓郁,注重培养国际化、复合型、创新型的经济管理人才,目前已与美国、英国、加拿大、荷兰、日本、澳大利亚及港澳台等多个国家和地区的知名高校及经管类学院建立了合作关系。

一、岗位设置与招聘方向

经济与管理学部提供包括教授、副教授、助理教授、博士后等岗位,欢迎所有与经济与管理专业相关的申请,优先考虑以下专业:金融学、城市与区域经济学(含房地产、城市治理)、国际贸易、产业经济学、行为经济学、卫生经济学、应用计量经济学、金融计量经济学、社会保障(老龄化与养老)、市场营销(品牌战略)、企业管理(企业战略)、大数据分析(含商业数据分析)、信息系统与管理、旅游管理、财务管理、公共政策(含行为政策)、经济统计。

二、任职资格

(一)教授

1、已入选“百千万人才工程”等国家级人才计划,海外知名高校或国内“985工程”或“211工程”或一流建设大学的教师;

2、已取得国内同行公认的且产生重大长期影响的研究成果,具有优异的国际化学术与研究背景;

3、年龄一般不超过50周岁。

(二)副教授

1、已入选省市级及以上人才计划,海外知名高校或国内“985工程”或“211工程”或一流建设大学的教师;

2、已取得一定的成果或具有突出贡献,其代表性成果具有重要的科学研究价值、应用价值;

3、年龄一般不超过45周岁。

(三)助理教授

1、申请人必须有相关领域的博士学位,或在2020年秋季之前获得博士学位;

2、具备良好的论文发表纪录或优秀的科研能力,具有丰富的教学经验;

3、应届毕业博士应小于30周岁,有博士后经历者应小于33周岁。

(四)博士后

1、博士后招收类型包括全职博士后、在职博士后、企业博士后;

2、申请人员须获得博士学位,博士学位获得时间一般不超过3年,年龄35周岁以下,身心健康,品学兼优,具备较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力。
